BIOGRAPHY

I was born in a small town in Wisconsin and am therefore a fan of the Green Bay Packers.  I have spent most of my life living in the beautiful state of Michigan and I don’t plan to leave.

The people of West Michigan are the most amazing I’ve met anywhere in the world, and I’ve met some great people.

LIFETIME WORK EXPERIENCE

When I was 8 years old I started knocking on doors selling personalized greeting cards.  I was a round-face bespectacled, short, blond-haired kid….who could say “no”?

Throughout my life I have held many occupations which put me in a unique position to connect with people.  I have been a dishwasher, a fast-food manager, a missionary, a Christian book seller, a church administrator, a Realtor, a data processor, a karate instructor, an insurance agent and the CEO of a multi-million dollar insurance wholesaler.

DEVELOPMENT

I have always enjoyed speaking in front of people.  I learned in the past few years that I am even more fulfilled when helping individuals on a one-on-one basis.  There is no feeling like watching people do things they never thought they could.

I have also found that one of my greatest frustrations is when people refuse to take responsibility for their own life. The world doesn’t owe any of us anything, so we need to stop blaming everyone else for our problems.

I love helping people find ways to help themselves.

WHO ARE MY CLIENTS?

My clients are not people who are looking for someone to blame.  They are not people who want to coast or have someone take care of them.

My clients are people who want to be more than they are currently.  This doesn’t have to be large or grandiose.  Some of the most successful people I know will never be in a who’s who anywhere, except in the minds of their family.  My clients are people who wish to be the best “them” they can be.
