Did you ever feel like giving up? One of those times when you’ve just had it?

You give and give and not only does no one appreciate it, but they just want more. And there is no one who cares about what you need.

Have you been there? Have you felt that?

I have, and it can really be a difficult funk to get out of.

Sometimes you can clear it up a little by considering why you are giving. Is it a certain person you are taking care of? Is it a cause you believe in? Or is it because you wanted something. There’s nothing wrong with any of these reasons, and identifying them may help you to refocus…to keep plugging away. Or it may clarify your reason to stop that particular task.

With regards to no one looking out for you-well, there probably is, and if you really think about it, you can see it. If there isn’t, then find someone you like and trust and ask them to help/pray/troubleshoot with and for you. It requires opening up a bit, being vulnerable, but that’s okay. It’s worth the effort.

We all need help sometimes. If (when) that is you, find help. Whether a friend or a professional, there is always hope.

Don’t give up.

You can do this.
