Here in the U.S. we make more decisions in a day than most people in the world. We are blessed with choices for just about everything we do. Sometimes it is overwhelming. 9 different colas, 23 different chip flavors and styles, 6 different “blues” for your blue jeans, call a friend or don’t. Some decisions are important, some really aren’t. For the unimportant ones (you decide which those are), don’t spend a lot of time. Choose something that will work and move on. Maybe make a decision that last for a while until you revisit it- ‘until I make a new choice next month, I will only drink water, nothing else’. Then don’t second guess it. ‘Shouldas’ are draining. I have an infinite number of routes I could take to drive to work. I have pretty much decided on two-one for speed and one for scenery. Much easier decision, and neither one is ever really wrong. Other decisions are very important. Take your time on these. Evaluate these on what you stand for and the information you have. Then decide. Don’t decide twice….do it once and move on. Move from where you are, not where you were. You can do this.
