You’re different than me. That’s a good thing. The world really doesn’t need two of your or two of me. There is EXACTLY one of each of us, and that is PERFECT. Different helps us do things. We each see things a little differently. It doesn’t make you evil. It doesn’t make me evil. It means that together (if we can be mature) we can put together a clearer picture of reality. We need other viewpoints to see clearly.

Did you ever stop to think about what our food would be like if we were all the same? Every family corn bread recipe would be the same family corn bread recipe. If we were all white Germans, we would be able to prepare a mean bratwurst, but none of us would have ever seen a taco or an egg-roll or a pizza. That would be sad.

If you talk and listen only to those people who believe exactly as you, you will miss a lot. That doesn’t mean you have to believe EVERYTHING others tell you. But consider the things you hear. Weigh them out, openly and honestly. You will develop an even better picture for yourself.

Instead of hating and screaming at those who don’t look like you, think like you, act like you or believe like you, be thankful for them. The palette of your life will look like “Skyrim” rather than “Pong”.
