Election Peace

Now that sounds like an oxymoron to me.

But it doesn’t have to be. Yes, this has been a very contentious election season (started about a year and half ago), with a bunch of six-year-olds calling each other names…but the rest of us can be adults.

Here’s a secret…there is no one on any ballot that is exactly who you would like them to be. But that’s okay, that’s what made America…differences, melting together to form a better whole. Accept each other and their different opinions.

You can have peace this election when you put politics in its proper place….below God, below your family, below your friends and below your work.

Focus on those things that are important, the rest will truly work out one way or another. Find your peace this week.
