As difficult as it can be to forgive someone else, it can sometimes be even harder to ask someone for forgiveness.

You know why this is true.

When you say, “I’m sorry” for something you’ve done, you are admitting that you did something wrong. You made a mistake.

Society doesn’t teach us to take responsibility for our own actions, but instead to find someone else to blame.

There is no peace in this.

We all make mistakes. Instead of passing off the blame, take ownership of it, apologize for it, learn from it and do what you can to fix it.

There is no shame in being wrong.

It would be a shame to lose a friend because you refuse to admit you messed up.
