Hope is not a wish. We seem to use the word that way sometimes, but it isn’t quite right. Hope is a confident expectation of a positive outcome. Expectation. That is the key to hope. It isn’t just wanting something to happen, it is expecting it to happen. Where is your hope? My hope is in my belief that I will get to spend eternity with a God who loves me and with friends and family I have grown to love. This hope has been very important to me through the years. Though it is sometimes on the “back-burner” it took front and center again on Monday. The world lost a great man this week. Not great in the way that everyone knew him, but great in the way that everyone who knew him felt better by knowing him. I will miss Ziggy a lot. But, I hope to see him again one day.
